FARGO — An international speaker whose message targets youth will speak next week in Fargo.
Nathan Harmon, the founder of the motivational speaking organization Your Life Speaks, will speak at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Bethel Church, 2702 30th Ave. S. The 463 Foundation, the Fargo Police Department and Fargo Cass Public Health will host the program.
Harmon’s speeches focus on giving youth a healthy outlook on life, as well as helping children navigate challenges, according to a news release from the city of Fargo.
“In his younger years, Harmon battled divorced parents, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, alcohol and drug addictions, bulimia and eventually jail,” the release said. “Harmon’s message of hope, resilience, character and a focus on mental health well-being will resonate with people of all ages.”
